There is mini-golf and a neat Pirate Ship playground in the start area. It is all down-hill from the Jagdschloss (hunter school) and where there was a German MTB race back in May or June. ps(yes, I have pre-rode the area, not much true singletrack, but plenty of hill)

It was but not sure who was more scared you or the deer. The post where they had it is now closed, so last year the organizers said they wouuld move the event to a new location.

Is this the race that goes through the vineyard? I almost got hit by a deer riding with Andrew at that one.

uhm yeah, I am trying to squeeze the MWR office for info by stopping in, but I get an unconvincing answer on where the course will actually be.

I have some good local knowledge that I would love to share to with the MWR to ensure a good race course, but it is not looking to organized yet. The unfortunate thing is the for the week prior, 1AD will be doing a Field Exercise, and I will not be doing anything but working, sleeping and eating fast food.
